Roberta Benaglia
Roberta Benaglia

Roberta Benaglia, graduated magna cum laude in Industrial Engineering at Politecnico of Milan, started her working experience in the Listing Department of Borsa Italiana.

Later she gained twenty years of experience in Private Equity: the first experience in PE is dated 2001, when she joins Onetone Consulting, advisory Company of the Venture Capital Fund Onetone, committed to invest in ICT&Media companies, with strong growth potential.

From 2003 she has worked for DGPA&Co, in the Team that Advised The Absolute Ventures SCA Fund.

Since 2005 she is Founding Partner of STYLE CAPITAL SGR (former DGPA SGR) and she has significantly contributed to the launch and management of DGPA CAPITAL Fund (from 2007), being responsible for all the investment in Fashion e Consumer Brands sectors (responsible for over the 50% of the capital invested by the Fund). In particular, Roberta Benaglia managed the investments in Twin-Set, Sundek, Damiani sitting on their boards with executive roles, and in Golden Goose with the role of CEO and Chairman.

Since 2016, Roberta Benaglia has been the CEO and main shareholder of the renewed SGR that promotes STYLE CAPITAL Fund.

To date Roberta covers the role of Chairman at ZIMMERMANN and forte_forte, Executive Chairman at MSGM, Executive VP at LuisaViaRoma and Board Chairman at Soeur.

Roberta also holds numerous prestigious F&L awards, including being listed since 2021 by WWD among “The 50 most powerful women in the fashion business”, and since 2022 by BoF among “The BoF 500, BoF index of the people shaping the global fashion industry of today and tomorrow”.

Massimiliano Caraffa joined Style Capital in January 2026 as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer.

Prior to joining Style Capital, Massimiliano spent more than 20 years at Carlyle, where he was Partner and Head of Consumer for Europe. During this period, he was involved in more than 20 transactions globally and directly invested €2.4bn of equity for Carlyle Europe. Over the years, he served as Board Member or Chairman in 15 portfolio companies, and as a board member of AIFI, the Italian Private Equity Association, working closely with founders and management teams on international expansion, brand development, operational scaling and long-term value creation. His experience includes Moncler, Golden Goose, Supreme and Flos B&B Italia Group.

He has been recognised through multiple industry awards for landmark transactions in Fashion and Luxury, including two EVCA European Private Equity 'Deal of the Year' awards. He is also a co-author of MBA case studies and a lecturer at leading business schools, including INSEAD and IESE.

Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Genoa and an MBA from INSEAD, and is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish.

Francesca Grosso, in STYLE CAPITAL SGR (previously DGPA SGR) since 2008, graduated magna cum laude at Bocconi University in Milan and started her career at Corporate Finance Division of E. Capital Partners. During the 3-year experience at E. Capital she handled the origination and execution of M&A and structure finance projects.

In 2008, Francesca qualified as a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor.

She has been involved in Private Equity since 2008 (first in DPGA SGR and from 2016 in the renovated SGR STYLE CAPITAL), managing Twin-Set, Damiani, Golden Goose, forte_forte, MSGM and Soeur transactions.

Francesca Grosso currently holds the role of Board Member at forte_forte, MSGM and Soeur.

Filippo Prini

Filippo Prini holds an MBA from Columbia Business School (NY) and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration & Finance from Fordham University (NY). He joined Style Capital in September 2022 to be dedicated to the newly created fund Style Capital II. Previously Filippo spent almost a decade 9 years in Strategic Consulting at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) spending 4 years in Milan, 2 in NY and 3 in Paris.

During his tenure at BCG, he was a core member of the leadership team of both Fashion & Luxury and Principal Investors & Private Equity practices.

During his last role at BCG as a Sr. Project Leader, he has led multiple teams across the following topics: Business Plan creation, Digital & Omnichannel boost, Sell & Buy side Commercial Due Diligence, Turnarounds, and Retail expansion & optimization.

Filippo is fluent in English, French, German, and Italian.

Matteo Nulli joined Style Capital in 2019.

He developed experience in Fashion&Luxury business at Intesa Sanpaolo Corporate & Investment Banking as an Analyst within the Retail&Luxury department, in charge of originating and executing M&A deals and structured finance operation for the major luxury companies worldwide.

Before, Matteo worked as a Senior Associate at PwC Deals Advisory where he was a member of Transaction Services team.

He holds a Master degree in Finance at ESADE Business School (Barcelona), Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Brescia with one-year exchange at Trent University of Nottingham.

Matteo currently holds the role of CEO in Oceania (Holdco of the Zimmermann Group) and previously covered the role of Board Member at Zimmermann Group.

Federica Murgolo

Investment Manager

Federica Murgolo joined Style Capital in December 2022 to be dedicated to the newly created fund Style Capital II.

She developed M&A expertise during her 4 years in Transaction Services at PwC Deals Advisory where she provided Financial Due Diligence services, sell and buy side, working closely with private equity funds and major corporations. Federica took part in several projects in fashion, retail & consumer, industrial manufacturing, TMT and pharma & healthcare industries.

Federica holds a Master degree in Finance at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. In 2018 she joined a master programe with focus on M&A deal flow at Bayes Business School in London.

Diego Tonelli joined STYLE CAPITAL in June 2024 to be dedicated to the new investments of Style Capital II and performance monitoring of current portfolio companies.

He developed his expertise in M&A and corporate strategy during his role as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, where he was a member of the Fashion & Luxury practice.

During his time at Bain, Diego worked on several cases for both fashion & luxury brands and financial investors on matters relating to Business Plan creation, Retail Excellence, Digital & Omnichannel Strategy, IT Cost Optimization, as well as Sell & Buy side Commercial Due Diligences.

He holds a Master degree in Corporate Finance from Fordham University and a Bachelor degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from King's College London.

Alessia Ruggi joined Style Capital in January 2026, where she focuses on investment activities for Style Capital II and on monitoring the performance of the portfolio companies.

Previously, she gained experience in strategy and transaction advisory at OC&C Strategy Consultants and Boston Consulting Group, working closely with Private Equity sponsors on commercial due diligence, strategic planning and value creation projects, with a focus on the consumer, fashion & luxury and services sectors.

Alessia holds an MSc in Management from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi and a BSc in Economics and Business Administration from the same university.

Analyst

Lorenzo Marini joined STYLE CAPITAL in January 2026.

Since 2022, he has gained experience in Corporate Finance at PwC Deals Advisory as a Senior Associate and member of Edge - PwC Deals Graduate Programme for EMEA. In the M&A and Strategy & Teams Lorenzo has developed soft skills in the M&A field.

Lorenzo holds a master's degree in Finance from Ca' Foscari University of Venice.

Laura Savarino

Laura Savarino was awarded a degree in Business Administration from the University of Castellanza (LIUC) in 2003. Laura began her career at AIFI (the Italian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association), where from 2003 to 2006 she worked in the tax and legal department.

In 2007, Laura joined Principia SGR, a management company responsible for closed-end venture capital funds, where she handled legal/regulatory and administrative/accounting issues, in addition to corporate affairs; from 2009 to 2015, she was head of the management company's administrations/operations area. She then moved to Opera SGR where she was head of administration, finance and control.

In 2016, she joined the team at STYLE CAPITAL as head of administration and organisation (CFO) and Board member.

She's also Chairman in Oceania (Holdco of the Zimmermann Group) and Board Member in Florence Srl (Holdco of LUISAVIAROMA Group).
